• Writing - Test 1
    My country,Vietnam has been through many painful incidents for more than 100 years , that is the war between French Colonialism and Vietnamese people in the 1800s. However all of us-the Vietnamese people owe one person. Till now my country has gain its own freedom, all thanks to a great leader: Ho Chi Minh. Therefore, in  my point of view, Ho Chi Minh is one of the important world leaders that not only made contributions to the Vietnamese people, but also like a hero of Vietnam for rescueing the whole country from the chains of slavery.
    First of all, although Ho Chi Minh is only a normal human, but the love for his country inside him is the power to lead him get over all of the dangerous obstacles and gain independency for Vietnam. He is a very brave man after all, and the most precious thing that we all need to respect him is: he never gave up, he never stopped hoping and fighting.
    Secondly, with his strong will and determination, he was able to call upon every Vietnamese people to stand up and fight with him. Thanks to Ho Chi Minh's instructions, Vietnamese people were able to manage a successful revolution and gain their own freedom. After that, Ho Chi Minh is also the one who marked Vietnam coutry in the world map, and announced that Vietnam has its own "Independent Day" - in September 2nd, 1945.
    By leading the Vietnamese people to independency, Ho Chi Minh has made a precious contribution to the people of Vietnam - which nobody could ever did that before. In addition,
    he was continuously helping the citizens to develope the country. He also emphasized that the biggest enemy is not only the French Colonialism, but also illiteracy and starvation. Ho Chi Minh gave out several solutions that can solve the problems effectively in such a short time.
    In conclusion, there are many world leaders, such as Jonh F.Kenndy and Martin Luther King...etc...They are all heroes of their country. In those leaders we cannot forget to mention: Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of Vietnam. He is the one that saved the entire country from slavery, rescued Vietnamese people from French Colonialism and spent all of his life to make Vietnam become a developed country. All of the Vietnamese people owe him a big debt and can't find enough words to describe our gratitude for him. Ho Chi Minh is, and will always be the greatest leader of Vietnam.

    The reading passage shows that schools in the US are historically graded school systems. The systems are divided into : primary grades, intermediate grades and secondary grades. However, the professor in the lecture doubts that this school system is not a really sufficient one for some following reasons.
    Firstly, the graded school systems don't take differences in individual learning. The professor points out that there can be many differences in each individual, such as: A teenage girl or boy has so many differences in physical majority. However, boys and girls still be grouped together in a graded school system that we must forgot about the differences and learn the same thing.
    Secondly, the graded school systems don't deal with the whole issue positively. There can be some special cases that need to fix the issue. For example,  children start going to primary schools at six years old, though, some children may be able to learn very quickly and can go to school at the age of four or five already. That means if  some people need more time to learn or to learn quickly, they will have to wait for others. If they already knew about the lessons in their grade, they still have to repeat it everyday with other classmates.
    In conclusion, the reading passage shows that the graded school systems in the USA has been used not only in the country, but also in other foreign countries for a long time. In contrast, the professor in the lecture points out that there can be some reasons that this system is not a deal for everyone, because it has some reasons that can limit the learner's abilities. The 2 reasons are: graded school system doesn't consider differences of individual learning, and doesn't deal with the learning issue efficently at all.
